Utrecht Heritage Day 2026
Visit the Rietveld Schröder House for free on Saturday, September 12, during the annual Utrecht Heritage Day.

Resilient Heritage
Saturday, September 12, marks the annual Utrecht Heritage Day. This year's theme is Resilient Heritage: Utrecht Protects! In Utrecht, the focus is on forts, almshouses, churches, waterworks, and other monuments that offered protection. And also why they deserve protection today. The central question is: how do we make our monuments resilient for the future? The Rietveld Schröder House will also reopen its doors for short flash visits.
Curious which other Utrecht icons are participating and what activities are on offer? You can find more information here.
