We offer inspiring guided group tours that takes you and your company through the history of the Rietveld Schröder House and innovative design solutions that Rietveld and Schröder came up with.

To cater for an optimal experience for your party, we ask that you request a group tour with a tour guide at least 2 weeks in advance.

Maximum group size

The house has limited capacity and is more than 100 years old and therefore fragile. To protect this heritage site and provide a pleasant and personalised tour, we can accommodate a maximum of 12 people per group at a time.

Would youlike to visit the Rietveld Schröder House with a larger group? No problem! You can enter the house with alternating groups of up to 12 participants at once. Meanwhile, the other group can watch a documentary in the Ticket Office.I f your partyconsists of more than 12 people, please email rondleidingen@centraalmuseum.nl for tailor-made options.

Independent group visit

Are you with a group of more than 8 people and want to visit the Rietveld Schröder House on your own, at your own convenience without a personal tour guide? Then book two consequtive time slots via our online ticket shop. Your ticket includes a multimedia tour that you can follow via a provided media player or your own phone. Instead of a tour guide, soundclips bring the house and the stories of Gerrit Rietveld and Truus Schröder to life. Here's what to expect.

Booking and cancellations

Guidedtours of the Rietveld Schröder House are very popular. Therefore, it isimportant to book the tour at least two weeks before your visit. You can cancelor change your reservation free of charge up to one week prior to your visit.

Tailormade tours

Is your group larger than 12 people? Would you like to come on a Monday or at a different time than indicated above? Or do you have any specific requests for the contents of the tour? At least four weeks in advance, please contact us at rondleidingen@centraalmuseum.nl and receive a tailor-made proposal.

Accessibility

Unfortunately,the Rietveld Schröder House is not accessible to wheelchairs, prams andpushchairs. Here you can find more information about the accessibility of the museum.
