After the Second World War, Gerrit Rietveld also designed dwellings on Robijnhof in Utrecht's Tolsteeg district. They were meant to be affordable, practical homes for ‘ordinary’ people. The historic house museum at Robijnhof 13 is completely furnished with 1950s furniture, including pieces made by popular local furniture manufacturer Pastoe.
